Flite text 2 speech toy from pocket pc now for your giz, in Windows CE mode................
Its best to have SIPkeyboard working on your giz so you can type lots of naughty words and stuff...... Read here for full info and credits of pocket pc version: http://www.viksoe.dk/code/flite.htm The Download:

When I try to copy the files to my Sd Card it says:
"The archieve is either in unknown fromat or damaged" So, it doesn't work... Eddie |

Eddie i just downloaded it and it works fine, did you unpack the download file first, then copy the folder to your sd card, and have giz in windows ce mode............... TheReaper

Yes, it came up with that message when i tried to copy those files from the opened .Zip, on my PC.
I'll try again now, I've restarted my PC, sometimes(always) my PC just goes mad... Eddie Still the same thing...

That looks cool
, now if I could only connect my giz to the internet wirelessly (portable internet access ).If you have loads of credit on your sim card, then you can surf via GPRS (portable internet access). Is that the flite software you are using to browse the net? No, This is another program. Do you have to use the cursor to type in each letter or can you use the D-pad and the play button for instance? I got it working too Reaper. It's really cool.
For some reason though it won't open txt files such as the included Alice.txt. It says the filename is too big. I tried reducing it to A.txt but that didn't work either. Has anyone been able to save the text also. When I click on the disc icon I just lose my text. I'm sorry Reaper I bet you get fed up with this. You release a fun bit of software and all we do is moan about what it can't do which is probably a problem with the original and not your fault. We're just spoilt by your efforts. |

Oh yeah, it does that, try using notepad for giz, load text file into that then copy to clipboard, then load Flite and there should be an option to load from clipboard, i myself have not tryed this so it may not work......... I only tested with SIPKeyboard, typing lots of naughty words and stuff ........................TheReaper
